This is our ladder truck. (Ladder 8) It is a 1992 model Pierce Arrow. Our Ladder truck helped to lower our DOI (department of Insurance) rating. A lower rating helps homeowners save on homeowers insurance. the lower the rating the lower the insurance premiums.
Ladder 8 is used as a backup engine and rescue truck. It is a second means of egress (escape) from a rooftop. We have also used the ladder to rescue cats from trees tops!
