Fire Chief Kyle Dixon and his son Blayne. Kyle has been the Franklinville Fire Chief for five years. Contact Kyle at chiefdixon@triad.rr.com Kyle is a certified North Carolina fire instructor, EMT, Aerial Ops and Emergency Vehicle Driver and Certified driver operator and HazMat Ops certified and Rescue Tech. In 2005, Kyle was awarded an outstanding firefighter award by Randolph County in recognition of his outstanding, unselfish and heroic action in a life saving effort on April 12, 2005.

Michael Caviness is a certified North Carolina fire instructor, EMT, Aerial Ops and Emergency Vehicle Driver and Certified driver operator and HazMat Ops certified. Michael is over the junior fire fighter program.

Larry Hicks is a certified North Carolina fire fighter Level I and II and Emergency Vehicle Driver and HazMat Ops certified. Larry is our safety officer and responsible for our electronics and all communications equipment.

Renay Welborn, Assistant Chief 22 |
Renay Welborn is a certified North Carolina fire fighter Level I and II, medical responder, Aerial Ops and Emergency Vehicle Driver and HazMat Ops certified. He over sees all equipment and trucks at Station 22. Renay won fire fighter of the year for 2005.

 Robert Hurley, Captain 8-A |
Robert Hurley is a certified North Carolina Level I and II fire fighter, EMT, Rescue Tech and Emergency Vehicle Driver and HazMat Ops certified. Robert is our fire prevention officer. Robert won fire fighter of the year for 2007. Robert won junior fire fighter of the year for 2004.

Arnold Allred is a certified North Carolina fire fighter Level I and II, EMT, and Emergency Vehicle Driver and HazMat Ops certified. Arnold is over mapping and testing of fire hydrants. Arnold won fire fighter of the year for 2006.
